Outdoor meetings: 10am every Sunday
Next meeting: 27th September
While we are unable to meet as usual on Thursday evenings, we will be offering meetings outdoors for walking meditation and optionally sitting meditation (if weather conditions allow).
Meeting in Bushey Norwood (Google Maps link). This is a large field on the Bath Skyline walk, very close to the Bath Cats and Dogs Home. Free parking is available on The Avenue by the Cats and Dogs Home and in the nearby university car parks. There is a stop for the university bus service (U1) at the end of The Avenue.
To reach the meeting point, walk down The Avenue towards Claverton Hill until you see the National Trust Bushey Norwood sign on the wall on the left. After the sign, turn left through the green gates. Go past the American Museum pedestrian entrance on the right, then through a gate on the right into a large field. Follow the footpath across the field and turn left through the gate into Bushey Norwood.
We will do group walking meditation around the field for 20–30 minutes, then if the weather conditions allow, we will do a short sitting meditation in a quiet part of the field. We are unable to provide any cushions etc. for the sitting meditation, so please bring anything you would like to use if you wish to join us.
Meetings will go ahead in most weather. If the weather is looking particularly bad, please check back here; we will announce early Sunday morning if the meeting is cancelled.
As a religious gathering, our outdoor meetings are permitted to have more than 6 people from different households attend. We will be following strict social distancing to minimise the transmission risk of Covid-19. Please do not attend if you or anyone you have been in close contact with has symptoms of Covid-19.
Contact us at email@example.com if you have any questions.
Indoor meetings are not currently running. We are currently waiting for the room to become available again.
Usually we would meet on Thursdays at 7:45pm at the Bath Scout Headquarters, 7 Grove Street, Bath, BA2 6PJ.
